Although I can't take much of this drink because of my sensitive stomach... but I just could not resist the lovely smell of this drink....

I like this dish.... Mix grill served with hommous, arabic bread and salad(usually they served it with french fries, but I am banned from eating french fries by my hubby) :-(

3 May 2007. Dinner at the Karachi Darbar Restaurant, a famous Pakistani restaurant chain in UAE. Cheap and good!

Shawarma

This is a famous and cheap street food in UAE. It's similar to the gyros in Greece. Meat, vegetable, yoghurt sauce, french fies wrap in Arabic/Pita bread.

Farewell dinner with Jackie

28 April 2008. We had dinner at Latino restaurant in the hotel with Lilian and Jackie, who is leaving us to Beijing in May. Best of luck to Jackie in her career and love hunting in China... we will surely visit you there!!!
